Hey, I'm Carrie
Carrie Shumpert brings a lifetime of experience, grit, and growth to her role as a life and health coach. With a background in behavioral science and health coaching, Carrie has built a diverse and impactful career, from professional athlete and fitness model to successful trainer and corporate leader. She has long been a pioneer in women’s sports, wellness, and leadership. As a certified coach, Carrie merges academic knowledge with real life experience. Early in her career, she focused on physical training and saw firsthand how often deeper health and behavioral issues needed attention. That insight led her to expand her education, integrating emotional wellness, mindset, belief systems, and lifestyle change into her coaching practice. What sets Carrie apart is her lived experience. She has navigated the mental and emotional pressures of athletic life, faced body dysmorphia, and rebuilt her world after profound personal losses. She knows what it’s like to raise a blended family, experience divorce, lose a spouse, and advocate for her own health during illness. She’s done the inner work, and continues to do it every day.Carrie is a student of life, committed to growth and purpose. Her resilience is matched by her compassion, and her passion is to help others rise. Her clients don’t just receive guidance, they receive strength, wisdom, and a coach who sees them clearly. At Power of 2Day, the focus is not just on physical and emotional transformation, but also on coaching beliefs, the core narratives that shape how we see ourselves, our limits, and our future. Carrie helps clients identify and shift the limiting beliefs that hold them back, replacing them with empowered perspectives that move them forward.
Carrie’s Training Philosophy

Carrie believes that lasting transformation comes from building positive change one step at a time. Her approach is holistic, blending life coaching with health and fitness so that clients can grow mentally, emotionally, and physically not just in one area of life.
She emphasizes sustainability over quick fixes. Every plan is personalized to fit the client’s season of life, current abilities, and future goals. Instead of chasing extremes, Carrie helps clients create a foundation they can actually live with—prioritizing movement, nutrition, rest, and mindset as equal pillars of success.
At the heart of her philosophy is the idea that confidence and resilience are built through consistency. She encourages clients to tune in to their bodies, celebrate progress (not just perfection), and understand that setbacks are part of the journey. By teaching people how to align with their own strengths and values, Carrie equips them with tools to stay empowered long after the session ends.
